Denver’s Country Club neighborhood spans University Boulevard to Downing Street, between Cherry Creek and 8th Avenue. It is one of Denver’s smaller but more influential areas. The neighborhood is a mix of new and older construction, exquisite architecture, large lots and homes, as well as prime retail space. Two landmark features of the area are the Denver Country Club and the Country Club Place subdivision, which was constructed in 1909 between Franklin and Race Streets.

The Denver Country Club, a private historic club, is located along Cherry Creek, just west of University Boulevard. One of the area’s main features, the Cherry Creek Mall and Shopping District, is home to many fine restaurants, independent boutiques, and larger anchor stores. Much of this walking neighborhood is tree-lined and well landscaped. It is just minutes southeast of the downtown area.
